I am 14 (yes, still young) but I really want to study anthropology or history (or both) when I get to college. My other career choices are journalism or nursing. But anthropology and history are what interest me more.
My parents and sister (In college, studying psychology) wonder what I could do with it. I honestly have no idea. My dad said the only way you can make money with history is to right a book.
So, with anthropology and history being one of my major interested, what are some career jobs that deal with them?
Thanks
Banking is a field history majors go into.
History is a great degree to have because it is useful to draw on past events to use in everyday activities; for example, if you have to give a speech. Fred Smith, founder of FedEx, loves history. The main thing to consider is what you are going to do while in college; internships are going to be vital to building your experience. You can end up being a teacher, manager, salesperson, or go onto law school and grad school You have options.
