eh look at it this way. it is sooooooooooo competitive just to get into the nursing program that the actual nursing program will be a breeze.. i mean honestly you need to pull off a 4.0 average to have a good chance… anything less then that and your chances will be as slim as a tooth pick.. sooo after you’ve gotten in.. it should be a breeze.
all i know about being nursing student is that you must have an empty mind to fit in all necessary medical and scientific terms, and procedures in your head.
in short, a lot of memorizing.
Nursing school is extremely demanding. I am a junior in a BSN program and we have lost more than half (over 70) of the people that we started the program with. It takes hard work and dedication. As for curriculum, and what time/days you need to go, that will vary from program to program. I study EVERYDAY for a minimum of about an hour, a max of 3-4 hours. I do not have a social life anymore, but I am excelling in the field so I am happy with that. It is very stressful and at times I wonder what the hell am I doing, but for the most part I LOVE it!!! As long as you are dedicated you should be fine.
