    Your school must complete paperwork to make you officially eligible to test. Once that is complete, a letter arrives inviting you to register for the NCLEX at a testing center close to you.
    It took about 2 weeks from the date of my degree conferral until I received my authorization to test. By then, the soonest appointment was several weeks away. I used this time to study myself silly. I knew nothing but my name, nursing and breathing.
