not sure what the wages are, they vary by state and job positions. wages are probably googleable, but generally they start $28-32 and increase $1/year until the cap of about $40/hr is reached
the options for RNs are endless.
its not just hospital work anymore, registered nurses are required in several other fields:
pediatric facilities
maternal.child clinics/programs
public health infection control and prevention
immunization clinics
public health organizers
mental health
home care
individual health clinics (walk-ins)
traveling nurse that visits remote and urbanized areas in need
reserve nurses
rehabilitation facilities
long-term care
and MANY MANY more i cannot think of off the top of my head
