How much does it cost to take the NCEL or RN- NCLEX if it does?
I need to know the same thing
You do not have to get your ASN before your BSN. You can go straight to a BSN.
ASN is a 2 year degree and a BSN is a 4 years degree.
NCLEX is the general term. There is actually 2 kinds on NCLEX
NCLX-RN for licensing RNs and NCLX-NP for licensing Nurse Practitioners.
Seeing that we are in a nursing shortage right now, I would think it would not take long to find a job. Back when I graduated from nursing school, hospitals would hire before you even took a the licensing test. You were called an IP (interm permitee). You had to work under an RN and had to have you charting co-signed by and RN.
As far as cost, I found this quote:
“The cost to take the NCLEX-RNĀ® exam is $200. Additional licensure fees are determined by the individual State Board of Nursing.”
