    The general FAFSA program gives federal aid for college students.

    You may contact Nurse’s Associations, to see if they have additional scholarship funds.

    Call the school where you plan on going. They have a financial advisor who can guide you through all the steps.

    Make an appointment with your school counselling office. This is always a good place to start. Ask questions to any and everybody! Check with your local Rotary, Moose, Elk, Masonic, etc. clubs. Area hospitals always have a foundation or a guild that give scholarships to nursing students, even if you are only in prerequisites. Go to http://www.fastweb.com, this is an excellent resource for all types of scholarships. Good luck, you have a long, hard journey ahead of you!!
