Do nursing programs generally treat male applicants the same as female applicants? Do you think there any favoritism towards men or discrimination against them? These questions are a matter of opinion, but if there have been any studies on this issue and you have links, I’d appreciate it. Thanks!

Equal. 50 years ago, nursing programs were almost all female, but now there are many men as well as women nurses.
Equal. Admissions are based on specific measurable criteria, like GPA, pre-admissions test scores like SATs or ACTs or an NLN entrance exam, some schools award “points” to a ranking system and give more points to students who have completed more of their pre-reqs and other gen. ed. courses at that home school while transfer students might earn less points.
Gender has nothing to do with it. That’s illegal.
i think they are preferred and there are so many scholorships offered for it.
