No not at all. I dont see how you would think that either teaching vs nursing? completly different things. An education degree depends on what you want to teach..for me im majoring in elementry education so i have to know a little about everything. for example, i have to take 4 different math courses, 4 different science courses, gov, hist 1 and 2, and then my major and thats just specialized classes. then senior year ill do my student teaching.
Nursing is completly different. my friend is getting her associates in nursing and she doesnt have to take half the courses i do.
Basically, education major has a lot more work. more courses about everything. plus you have to go through certification
