Well nursing is intended to help improve the quality of life and to help people heal and overcome adverse health, so in that sense it is “pro-life”.
But at the same time it is a career where you have to put aside your own morals and values and respect the differences in other people’s views. You have to treat every patient the same, with the same regard and respect as the next person, regardless of their lifestyle, stances or opinions on things. So if you think you’ll have any difficulty being objective to those sensitivities, then nursing is not a good field for you.
Be a nurse, we REALLY need more male nurses.
Take my advice and become a Nurse. I majored in History in college and it did not get me anywhere (I did not want to teach). A burse has plenty of options and you can care for the elderly and newborns
