I live in the UK (England), and would really like to hear from anyone in a similar boat to me as I am really stressed out as I have no idea how to apply and all the NHS website seems to be throwing up are application forms for the current educational year. My friend seems to think that as well as the bursary I might also be eligible for a maintainance loan? Please Help! thank you!

It is very common in today times to find that you are graduating from college with a number of student loan debts. When you start looking at all of your loans, the repayment terms, and the interest rates; it can quickly become overwhelming. However by looking at student loan consolidation rates you might be able to save money and reduce the number of payments that you make on a regular basis. When you consolidate your loans you will find that you have better interest rates, better terms and one simple payment to make each month. Plus most student loan consolidation companies actually help you with being able to find the best options for you including repayment terms that fit into your budget.

By being able to find great student loan consolidation rates you will be able to reduce any feelings of anxiety that you might have over the process. This lower interest rate will help you to be able to have more affordable payments. Plus you will save money in checking as you only have to write one check each month rather than sending multiple checks out for multiple payments.
Stop stressing, the reason it’s throwing up forms for the current academic year is because it’s too early for you to apply. It’s usually about May once the mid-year diploma students have started that you can apply for the Sept intake.
The uni will inform the bursary people that you have been offered a place. The bursary people will write you a letter telling you when you can apply, which will be soon.
You can apply for a loan & grant now & I suggest you do because last year they took forever to process. As an NHS student you won’t get as much as other students. I got a loan but not the maintenance grant. http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/EducationAndLearning/UniversityAndHigherEducation/StudentFinance/index.htm
