Don’t waste too much time, and just study hard.
I used to work for a nursing department and advise nursing students. Most of the students who were successful often studied in groups, since they had the same classes and were in clinicals together. Always do your assigned readings, and don’t wait until they build up. You won’t retain the information for the long run that way. I used to manage the readings for several classes in college by taking all of my syllabi, and putting the readings for a particular day in a planner. That way, I can see what I have to do that day without looking at every syllabus. There’s never a surprise. Also, what helped me study for tests was using notecards as flashcards for vocabulary and formulas.
