I’m 21 years old and a permanent resident in New York, want to apply for college in Texas, California, Georgia, or other states have warm weather. Can you tell me step by step how to get financial aid or student loan to live in that state and go to college?

It’s the same as if you are applying to college in your own state. Fill out the fafsa at http://fafsa.ed.gov and you can list up to 10 schools for your financial Information to be sent to. The admission application process will be listed on each schools website under “Prospective Students” or “admissions”.
The FAFSA is a federal grant that will follow you to whatever school you attend if you are eligible to receive a grant. There are several popular lenders for student loans that you can apply to online. I would suggest calling a financial counselor at one or more of the colleges you plan to attend and ask for specific guidelines about applying for financial aid to that college-A word of advice…..If you don’t have a preference as to which college you attend be sure to compare tuition.
