I love History. This has to be my major, and I would probably also minor in either Biology or Spanish. This would not give me the time for another major in nursing, and a minor would be just pointless. How could I be a nurse then? Is there some type of master’s program?

Why not do a double major in history and nursing? Then you could continue studying other topics after graduation. You will need to take a foreign language anyway, so that will get you started on spanish and you will learn some biology during your nursing studies. You can do it all, just not if four years.
I’m about 99.999% positive that there is a masters program that allows non-nursing majors to get a degree and become a registered nurse. Schools are actually encouraging this because there is a big nurse shortage right now and they don’t want to turn away educated people just because they studied something else as an undergrad. This is in California though and it may be different in other states, so you might want to talk with the pre-health advisor to find out for sure.
Well, you could work towards a BA in History while taking your prerequisites to gain admittance into a Nursing program. It is impossible to be an RN without an ADN/ASN/or BSN. Nursing programs are usually very strict & time consuming, so any other coursework during the program will probably not be feasible. You could also get your BSN, and then possibly a Masters in History…but I’m not sure how well that would work, you have to look into graduate programs and see what prerequisites they are looking for. Good luck!
In FL you need a BSN to enter into a MSN program.
You will have to go through a nursing program to be a nurse, however there are many accelerated programs in the US that take only one year to complete a BSN once you have a previous bachelors degree and it does not matter (at the ones I have checked out) that it is a non-medical bachelors. It is however best to assure that while you are getting your degree you are also completing pre-requisite courses for a nursing program. If want to be an RN with a BSN find an accelerated program and then find out what their pre-requisite are. Minoring in Biology or a social science would probably be most helpful as far as pre-requisites.
This is a website with a fact sheet on accelerated degrees in nursing for a BSN or Masters.

If you want to be a nurse in the US you should be familiar with the national requirements the website is https://www.ncsbn.org/
Also you should look at the state requirements for the state in which you intend to practice.
Good luck
