I need some opinions regarding how we as a nation can do a better job with the dilemma of supplying Student Aid to students seeking higher education. Who should get it? How is it funded? How is it distributed? Thank you for your thoughts!

Getting a piece of that 700 billion bailout would help a lot. Students trying to pay for college need help too besides companies that screw themselves over with debt, damned all.
all colleges that get federal funding should offer part time jobs to students and give the students a discount on their school expenses
also student need to learn to live within their means
not to give you a through the snow in bare feet to school story
but everyone i knew in college was ‘always broke’ we didn’t have cars, phones, video games, the newest computers etc. we ate at home/or in the dorm and suvived on peanut butter and oatmeal.
