Help a nursing student with a paper?

I am taking Microbiology and want to write a paper on the following diseases:

1. The top five infectious diseases which cause the most deaths worldwide.
2. The top five infectious diseases which cause the most deaths in the US.
3. The top five infectious diseases which are most likely to cause death if you contract them- especially a fairly quick and awful death.

I know I’ve seen statistics on some of these before on the CDC and WHO websites, but I can’t seem to find them now. Can anyone help and/or give me a link?

    Ask a librarian. If there is a health science or hospital library that would be great but an university or public librarian should be able to assist you.
