Nursing is a great career, I have met many tremendous nurses in my life, both ladies and gents. My daughter uncovered some great guidance about it on the site in the box below, and now she is in her inaugural semester of training.

I’ve heard that private practice allows you a flexibility in your schedule that some folks enjoy but often times does not offer good medical benefits. Hospital nursing tends to be the opposite. You may wind up with a fixed schedule but usually you get pretty decent benefits. Also a lot of hospitals offer tuition reimbursement. In the end it depends on where your priorities lie.
