Does anybody know of a history event that had a conflict or compromise? I want something with military nursing

Any conflict and/or compromise IN HISTORY that has to do w/nursing would be a gr8 help! Thanx sooooooo much!! :-D

    How about the Crimean War? This is the war that gave Florence Nightingale her fame and propelled the nursing profession during wartime from an afterthought for prostitutes to a respectable profession for young ladies.

    I think the Vietnam war really reflected Nursing. Before then, we were just following orders, not thinking or working independently, but during Vietnam, the MASH hospitals were so busy that Nurses took over a huge role in saving lifes. They learned advance techniques, and went from followers to leaders. Do a search for Vietnam Nurses and read their stories.
