Do you need to take physical education in college if you want to major in nursing?

I would like to major in nursing and a friend told me that physical education is recommended. Is it mandatory to take that class? Or is it optional? I’m attending a two year college by the way, and I would like to transfer to a 4 year college.

    Yes, it’s a basic requirement. I’m a nurse and going back to school for a better degree. This field is awful. Oh yeah, I hope you’re really good at math and science..there is SOOOO much science in nursing.

    Uhm wow. Obviously you do. And yes–you better be good at math and science or nursing is down the drain for you.
