I have worked in healthcare for 10 years ER and OB and completing a bachlors in sociology next year. My mother said that I should be able to sit for the nclex with the associates I have and the bachlors degree I will get early next year and the experience that I have. Is there any truth to this?

if you think you have the clep you should go see a doctor.
no! its not about the experience you have its the classes that are required. in order to sit for the nclex you need certain classes like a&p, microbilogy and a load of nursing classes. your state dept website should have whats required for you to sit for the nclex
NO, you need to have graduated from an accredited nursing program to sit for those boards.
