I miss the nurse’s ball! It was always so ridiculous and silly, we could use a bit of that light hearted humor on GH about now. Nurse Nadine reminds me of Amy Vining and she’d be the perfect person to revive the ball. Maybe Maxie could take the place of Lucy Coe.

Yes! I so miss the nurse’s ball. That was huge part of General Hospital and it brought a lot of awareness to the AIDS epidemic and what can be done to help prevent the spread of the disease. I think the show could use that serious side again and the lighthearted humor that came from it- remember Lucy and Catherine’s silly wardrobe fights?! It would be a nice break from the mob all the time!

I loved everything about the nurse’s ball; you are right on the money. It is such a shame whoever is in charge did not make this the annual event it deserved to be.
Yes!! I really miss the nurse’s ball. GH should have a nurse’s ball, because theses current s/l are Zzzzzzz……… Diana, Maxie, Epiphany, and Spinelli are funny characters. If all of them get together in one room with their foes it will be too…….funny!!!
unfortunely the Nurses ball was under the OLD Producer/head writer- the last one was in 2001- i doubt we will ever see it back- it was Always held on or around June 17th which was the Media’s Day of Compassion for HIV/AIDS–
The Powers That Be claim it is too costly to do
( bullets/bombs/explosions are cheaper???) and it was during a Non sweeps time- Compassion would clash with the mobs/ deaths/depressive nature of the current GH
I really agree!!! GH is going downhill fast; they need to do something to bring back interest. The nurses ball was always terrific!
I loved them, they were the highlight of the year. Forget replacements, get Lucy home where she belongs to do it! She was always the most fun girl in town! There is no one else like cooky,zany Lucy! With Scott in town, she should come home with his girls, Serena and Christina. Especially with Logan dying soon!
I remember those. They were classic. I don’t know what is going on with the writers of these shows right now. It used to be that I really liked to watch AMC and GH and just so-so like OLTL. Now it is the polar opposite I LOVE OLTL and am only so-so into GH and have actually quit watching AMC all together. They need to get their scripts together and start appealing to the masses or they are going to lose even more viewership than they already have.
I loved the Nurses Ball. I remember when PC was on I would have to watch it that day to see all the events. You are completely correct about bringing it back!
