You should be…you’ll have to apply and list both colleges….talk to your financial aide advisers for both schools…maybe call them and keep your question hypothetical.
yeah of course but they might only give u an amount for one school. ( fasfa that is) here is an example u go to UNC and want to also attend the local community college. YOu first have to go to UNC and get approved then u can attend the local college. THough financial aid still may only give u money to only cover UNC. but if u have left over money you can use that towards ur tuition for the other school
Yes, you are still eligible to receive financial aid, but you can only receive federal student aid at one school for the same semester. This means (unfortunately) that only one school can disburse federal aid to you based on the units that you are taking at their school. The units from both school’s cannot be combined. With this in mind, it is your best bet to accept the aid package from the school in which you are taking the most units in order to receive the most aid possible. Be sure to notify your other school that you wish to not receive any aid from them because you are receiving it at another school.
If you fail to notify one of the schools to cancel your award package and subsequently receive aid from both schools, the school who paid you last will be required to put you into repayment for the funds you received, so don’t let this happen. Only complete your file at one school and cancel with the other.
