i’m a VERY fit 50 year old woman, fitness instructor, etc. and look and feel about 15 years younger than i am..never smoke, drank, etc. now, here’s the question: i would like to go back for a 2nd bachelor’s degree (this time a BS in nursing) then go on to a master’s, specializing in nurse anesthesiology. i will be going through a divorce very soon and would LOVE to fall in love with a great guy someday and get another chance for happiness with a man. am i wanting too much too late? is all of this possible? i know i should be checking with God and not people, but i would like input from the YA! community, as well. (please not smart remarks…too much heavy stuff going down right now for me to have much of a sense of humor about this).

i think what your doing is great. go for it, i know lots of ppl who get married later in life after a divorce and if you go to school you’d be able to change careers. your getting a lifestyle makeover! awesome!
When is it ever too late to be happy?
You only live once….
Overly ambitious are words that we should never use. I think you have some very well thought out plans and you should set out to do them. All I can say is “GO GIRL” Take what you want from life and life will give back…..When will it be too late to want things from life………..never, not until your last breath is drawn……More women should have your drive………Good luck….and God bless.
Go for it!
