Can I obtain a CNA license in the state of California with a criminal background? Where can I find a list of offenses that bar me from getting the license. I have been all over the internet and looked at the Nursing Board site with no luck. I cant even get into the schools here, but they have no idea where i can find a list of offenses.

Any offense that constitutea abuse or neglect would bar you from becoming certified. That could include passing false checks, assault, battery, kidnaping, hazing, child neglect, robbery, car jacking, pointing a laser at a person, stalking, any sort of sexual assault, arson, firearms offences, pimping, crimes against children, incest, reckless driving, hit and run, solicitation of a prostitute, petty theft, shoplifting. and many others.
