My sister is suing her nursing home for injury and loss. My mother and I who used to visit her there, we have been subpoenaed by the nursing home’s lawyer. We would like to know what our “lawyer’s witness fee” is supposed to be or how much compensation we are entitled to for our travel expenses and time spent for the subpoena. I tried to google it and got lots of irrelevant links. Will someone please advise me or post a link as to where I can get the answer? Thanx.
