It’s good, now is a good time to be in medical. Nurse Practitioners will be in demand more from private facilities looking for recurring revenue from the aging. Most of the Baby Boomers are retiring in the next 5 years and medical care is being demanded by larger proportions of our population. Also San Mateo and the Silicon Valley will have higher demand for medical care and can afford more medical care than other regions. (Also Across the bay Kaiser is building more buildings, and I believe Palo Alto has expansion plans as well.) Budgets are ok and demand for medical care is a growth field with strong future employment.
