Besides Innefective airway clearance. what else should i focus on if my patient who is 7 years old has asthma.

hello, im not a nurse but i have suffered with asthma since i was 4. Im 21 now, lol.
I always find i need my inhaler at night time whn i lie down.
I was once told a bowl of water put in the room at night on the window sill, stops the room from drying out and keeps the air moisturised.
Although i am rubbish at taking my inhaler when i should, its very important your patient does. I would definately express this to the parents/guardian that taking the appropriate inhaler without fail. This will decrease the event of unexpected ashtma attacks.
