I’m a sophomore currently taking AP European History. I’m not sure whether i should take APUSH or just regular us history next year. I want to major in nursing and that doesnt have anything to do with history so i’m confused on what i should do. BTW I am planning to go to a community college first then transfer to a cal state.

If you like history that take it otherwise don’t take it. It would just be a waste of your time.
If history doesnt have anything to do with nursing it doesnt really matter which one you do.
Just do which ever one you want to do =]
your gpa will be higher if you do well
AP classes aren’t even really that challenger
I think regular classes are way too easy..
i too am a sophomore taking European history and i want to be a doctor but i am planning on talking the class because what do you have to lose becuase if you do good on the AP test then you get the college credits and if you don’t you still get the high school credits. but i’m really interested in history and i don’t know if you are or not but why not challenge yourself? ya know? i have no idea if this helped or not
US History is a requirement for every major at nearly every college/university in the country. If you receive a high score on the AP exam you won’t have to take that course in college. You’ll want to spend your time in college working on your degree related classes, so I say get it out of the way.
