    I think if you go to the Vacational school, you will be able to take more days off from work

    It’s “vocational”.

    You’d have to call the school to ask them about their program. The community college might be more likely to offer an associates degree while the LPN/LVN might be an associates in applied science degree. If all you want is to be an LVN, it shouldn’t matter where you take it – all schools that offer accredited LVN programs will earn you the right to sit for the same license in the end.
