I went from taking 12 hours a semester to 18. Will that increase my student aid?

During the normal school year the semester itself has a set cost, it’s not based on credit level. During the summer you usually have to pay per credit.
Usually once you are considered a full-time student your tuition doesn’t go up, so probably not (I do realize that there is a difference in things like the cost of books, though).
That depends on whether “12 hours” is considered “full-time” or not. Financial aid is rewarded based on either “part-time”, “half-time” or “full-time” enrollment. If 12 and 18 hours are in the same enrollment bracket (for example, if they are both “full time” loads), then your financial aid will not increase. If, however, 12hrs is “half-time” and 18 hrs is “full-time”, you will need to contact your financial aid counselor since more aid should be available to you.
