Why don’t you try either Hospice or become a Nurse Practioner.
You could also offer your services from home as a midwife or Medula.
You also should look into traveling nurse positions.
You get housing and pay, and may find it rewarding.
Otherwise, you could go into Medical transcribing

If you like to write, you could also look into writing health/wellness articles and content for magazines, doctors’ offices, websites, etc.
My sister has an Associate Degree in Nursing and she makes 100k as a Case Manager (nutshell – she tells the doctors when it’s okay to admit a patient and when a patient must be discharged depending on their type of medical insurance coverage). There’s plenty other things that you can do with that degree. You can work in Infection Control, Research, Medical Records as a Coder. You could manage a doctors office, work as a school nurse, any number of things. There are so many possibilites for an RN. I say….Go For It!!!
