I am thinking about getting an LVN license from an online college… Is it difficult finding employment with an online nursing degree?

Impossible, period. Forget that route. No one will hire a nurse trained on line as their entry training (other than some of the pre-reqs).
There are no accredited fully online LVN or RN courses because there are clinical requirements at the very least. If you find a program that is online with on-campus components, that will work, as long as it’s accredited and approved by your state board of nursing. If you are eligible to take your NCLEX exam from this school, then it’s good enough to get a job.
One of my cousins has had a good experience of taking a BSN program Online through Independence University. He is already employed and has all good things to share about the online nursing program. However, that’s not the case with all the nursing programs which proclaim to be accredited. You need to be vigilant and ensure that the nursing program you are enrolling into is accredited by a recognized accrediting agency. Independence University offers both BSN and MSN nursing programs through distance learning. Check out their website to know more about these nursing programs. Good luck!
